Websites for tradesmen
A tradesman’s first website. £499.
The work’s already coming in, on your name and your reputation.
What’s missing is somewhere of your own to send people when they ask for your website.
A Trade Site is that: five pages built around what customers search for, with your number on every one.
Plus a business email at your own domain.
The five pages
Every page is written for a search your customers make.
Here’s a carpenter’s Trade Site in Bridgwater, on a phone.
Tap a tab. Under each page is the search it’s written for.
Town by town
Your trade and your towns, named where search engines look first.
Five pages, with the towns you cover named in the titles and the first lines.
Somebody searches for your trade and their town. Each page is written for that search.
The carpenter whose pages these are, on Google
“Jordan approached me about creating my own website . I was skeptical at first, as I have been asked this before . He explained the package he could offer and the services that go with it . I found him to be very professional , and he obviously enjoys and takes pride in his job . He wasted no time in designing my web page. … The package price was very reasonable for my small carpentry business .”

Try it on your phone
Watch a website like yours build itself.
Pick your trade and a colour, put your business name in, then scroll.
This is a demonstration, and the business is invented. Yours would carry your own photos, reviews and number. The example photos are from Unsplash and Pexels.
A demo trade website on a phone: a header with the business name, a headline, the call button, the services, recent work, a review and a call to ring. It is an example, not a real business.
Scroll, and it builds.Built. A Trade Site is five pages like this one.

What £499 buys
Five pages and a business email for one fixed price.
Five pages, live on your own domain.
A business email at your own domain, so your quotes and invoices arrive under your name rather than Google’s.
Your number on every page, placed and sized for a thumb on a phone.
£250 starts it. The remaining £249 is due when you’ve seen the finished site and you’re happy, before it goes live.
Nothing’s added on top, so £499 is £499.
If you already have a website and it isn’t working for you, tell us and we’ll look at it.
A replacement is quoted once we’ve seen what’s there. Or start with a free website review.
It’s built in code with no system to log into, so changes come through us: on a monthly plan, or at £95 an hour, one hour minimum, agreed before we start.
It’s yours. The domain is registered in your business’s name and the code is yours once it is paid for.
If you ever move it somewhere else you take it with you, we stop hosting it, and nothing comes down.
Two words start it: your trade and your town. 07375 347 947
Questions tradesmen ask
What you’ll want to know before you call.
How much does a website cost for a tradesman?
£499 for a Trade Site: five pages and a business email on your own domain.
Will it actually bring in work?
Word of mouth carries on exactly as it does now.
The site is for the other customer, the stranger searching your trade and your town on their phone.
Without a site of your own, there’s no page of yours for that search to find.
A Trade Site gives that search a page of yours, written for your trade and your towns.
I’m already on Checkatrade. Why do I need a website?
Keep the listing: plenty of customers start there.
It’s a page on somebody else’s site, though. A website and an email on your own domain are yours, and the listing can send customers to them.
What does it cost each month after?
Hosting, at £19 a month, is the only running cost a site must have. Your business email stays on it, because it came with the build.
Website Support, £29 a month, covers one update a month when you ask: a new photo, a new town, a price that’s moved.
Website Maintenance, £79, is the plan we recommend: light changes as you need them, and your Google Business Profile kept accurate and matching the site.
Every plan except Hosting starts with 30 days free, and any plan stops on 30 days’ notice.
I don’t have any photos.
Send what’s already on your phone. Photos of your own jobs show customers your actual work, which a stock image can’t, even ones taken in poor light.
If you have none, we’ll tell you what to take on the next job.
I’m not good with computers.
You don’t need to be. You talk, we write it.
Send photos from your phone and we’ll build them into the site. There’s nothing to log into, ever.
I’ve been let down by a web designer before.
Then you’ll know the usual trap: the domain registered in their name, not yours.
Yours is registered to your business, and the code is yours once it’s paid for. Leave whenever you like and take it with you.
Why not one of the cheap ones?
Some low-cost sites are free to build because you rent them. Stop paying and the site comes down.
You own this one outright, so the £499 buys something that stays yours.
